North Italy Winery of the year 2024

Albino Piona is Cantina dell'anno Nord Italia. Important award given for the Top 100 Guide Best Italian wines 2024.

The Top Guide Best Italian Wines 2024 of Winemag.it has selected our winery, Albino Piona, as Winery of the year North Italy.

"An important recognition of which we are grateful - commented Alessandro and Massimo Piona, owners of the winery and fourth generation of producers -. It comes at the right time because it is a spur to continue our work with courage and experimentation always keeping in mind tradition and family values. They have been difficult years, but we left more motivated than before, thanks to this prestigious award".

A prize the result of the work and commitment of the whole team in our 45 hectares of vineyards between Sommacampagna, Valeggio, Sona and Villafranca. A project that opens the way to a new idea of wine made of respect and enhancement of the territory thanks to its raw materials, an intervention in the perspective of a short and environmentally friendly chain.
