Vita (Life) – “To me, terroir does not matter; only the interpretation of the territory matters”, Silvio Piona admits. Together with his brothers and sister Massimo, Monica and Alessandro, he manages the family-run winery his father Albino inherited from his grandfather. Piona's wines are capable to transmit the territory with consistency and a great degree of purity of style. The beautiful spaces of the winery underwent renovating works some years ago. The winery is surrounded by vineyards and often hosts exhibitions of local artists. 

Vigne (Vineyards) – A great variety of soils is to be found in the 77 hectares of the property, placed in the municipalities of Valeggio S/M, Sona and Sommacampagna. All of them are of morainic origin, the texture and the amount of clay vary. The vineyards, covered with green, are cultivated so as to limit yields. The vineyard alleys are arranged for mechanization, so as to save time between harvesting and destemming.

Vini (Wines) – Charming notes of peach and apricot, matched with an aromatic herbal touch, attract your senses when smelling Custoza Vino Quotidiano, juicy and savory in your mouth too.

Bardolino wine offers notes of wild strawberries and an exciting mark of spicy white pepper, while the sip is fresh and tight, full of pleasant and lightly embittering tannins.

Bardolino SP 2013 is a more complex wine, offering rose, cherry and ripe strawberry scents, melting together in a velvet sip.

Campo Massimo Corvina 2013 is a very elegant wine, thanks to its fine scents of violet, Peruvian bark and underbrush and to its extensive palate with a pleasant fine touch of almonds.

Verde Piona is a very delighful wine, refermented in bottle, with a savory and refreshing palate.
