WHITE WINES FROM VENETO: CUSTOZA SP DOC

WINE PRESENTATION: Family Piona has got a long tradition and good taste. After Bardolino wine, this year we are speaking about a Custoza marked by the will to evolve and experiment. A good wine, in our opinion.

Wine tasting: full yellow color with an exotic touch. Unexpectedly, it disjoints olfactions and involves them all. At first, it is closed, but then it releases hints of mango, Amalfi Sfusato Lemon, pollen and saffron with glimpses of minerals, recalling sulphur. A great sip, sapid with traces of almond.

Denomination: Custoza DOC. Grape varieties: Garganega, Tai, Cortese, Riesling, Chardonnay, Trebbiano.

An historical winery, founded back in 1893, which is run by the fourth generation. They own 77 hectares of vineyards and produce 4,500 bottles per year among different denominations.

Arts exhibitions and guided tastings take place at the winery.
